YOUR QUESTIONS ANSWERED

REMEMBER Yoga is for everyone, no matter what their age or level of expertise. The most important issue in Hatha Yoga is AWARENESS of the body and the breath.

What religion is Yoga?

Yoga is not a religion at all. It is a science of movement and breath.

Do I need to register in advance?

No, but for your first session please arrive 10 – 15 minutes before starting time to fill in registration form and settle in.

What if I’m late?

We do give some leeway, but if you are more than 10 minutes late, please join us at another time.

What must I bring?

A yoga mat, or a large towel to lie on and a light blanket if the weather is cool.

What should I wear?

Comfortable clothing that you can easily bend and stretch in. Please make sure your feet are clean and remove shoes on entering the yoga room. If it’s cold keep socks on.

Should I eat before class?

It is not recommended to eat just before yoga class. (Allow 2-4 hours after a large meal and at least 1 hour after light meal)
