CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

You work according to your ability. Our teachers will assist and guide you in your practice to develop at your own pace.
Teachers may be substituted from time to time.


BEGINNER

Monday 09h00-10h15 / Wednesday 15h00-16h00 / Thursday 17h30-18h30

These classes focus on a gentle approach to stretching and working the whole body, also on awareness and breath and getting away from the ‘busyness’ of life, de-stressing and relaxing

Tuesday 17h00-18h00 

Gentle Yin Yoga. Relaxing into and holding the postures for some time. Working on stretching into the connective tissue in the body and calming the mind. A very meditative class.

Thursday 09h00-10h15

Here we focus on the body and breath connection, including all parts of the body from stretching to toning especially the abdomen in order to create lower back support. When you are done after a period of relaxation you will know that all of your body parts have been touched in the class.


INTERMEDIATE

Monday 18h00-19h15

Using some stronger postures and relaxing into and holding them for some time. Working on stretching into the connective tissue in the body and calming the mind.

Wednesday 09h00-10h15

Inspiring the students to go a little deeper into body and breath, to become receptive to their own energy and all the different aspects of their physical body. Allowing students to find harmony between body and breath. Working a little beyond their comfort zone but still keeping the asanas soft and light! Guiding the students through classic surya and some fun flowing sequences, providing a well-rounded practice to all students.

Wednesday 18h00-19h15

Some Vinyasa (flow) and strengthening and developing towards some more advanced postures. Always work according to your ability with guidance from the instructor.

Saturday 09h00-10h15

A well balanced class with an emphasis on mindfulness and breathing. Incorporating awareness of the subtle/energy body and reconnecting with the whole being, physical, emotional, mental and spiritual. Sometimes exploring some stronger practices.
